PUBG: Play PUBG for FREE on PC – limited-time offer- Great news for all PUBG lovers, Krafton has finally made an official announcement that the world’s most popular game is Free to play on steam.
This is a reward for newcomers to ‘incentivize them’ to learn the basics of the game and apply those strategies in matches.
“The PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Steam Free Play Week has begun! Grab some friends to fill up your squads and take on TAEGO (18kmx18km in area) together! More details are available at https://pubg.info/PUBG_FPW_TW,” the company wrote on Twitter.
“Also, all missions and stats will be recorded so that you can keep track of your achievements. Last, but not least, we have prepared special events to welcome all new Survivors on the Battlegrounds, so read carefully to claim all your rewards,” the company wrote.

The PUBG: Battlegrounds name is coming to both PC and console versions. However, the free-to-play offer is only available for the PC version. This means players can go to Steam, download the game, and start playing it for free on their PC.
First of all, users have to Create their Global Account from accounts.pubg.com and link with their Steam account. Everyone who creates a new account and links their Steam account during the Free Play Week will be rewarded.
Important points to remember:
- The event will only be available on Steam.
- PUBG can be purchased from the Steam Store.
- All rewards, including Pass and Mission rewards along with XP and BP, can be acquired. Also, all missions and stats will be recorded so that you can keep track of your achievements.
- All records will be carried over if played on the same account after the purchase of the game title.
- The in-game store will be available once you purchase the game.
Note: The free access is live now from 10 August and will be available until August 16th with some limited-time rewards available for newcomers.
