PUBG New State Renamed to New State Mobile and check out Lunar New Year Rewards-Recently Krafton, confirmed Thursday that PUBG New State will be renamed to New State Mobile. It also unveiled the new name of its popular battle royale game for smartphones, which was released in November 2021. The game has More than 45 million people have downloaded it.
South Korean publisher confirmed the renaming of PUBG New State to New State Mobile in a tweet on Thursday. “Hello, Survivors. NEW STATE has always been a mobile-focused experience, and through the transformation to NEW STATE MOBILE, we are bringing this to the core. We always appreciate your support, and please look out for upcoming content updates later this year”, read the post.
The name change also means that PUBG New State is less likely to come to PC and console platforms, as Krafton insists that New State was always a mobile-centric experience. The PC version recently saw PUBG Battlegrounds free for all players on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation.
The developer also added a new BR: Extreme Mode to New State Mobile, which features 64 players and lasts for 20 minutes. Players begin the game with a P1911 handgun, a smoke grenade, 300 drone credits, and fully charged boost meters. In fast-paced matches, they must battle other players for double-tier points.
According to a report by Dotesports, a lot of changes are coming to the game starting with the addition of the BR: Extreme Mode and Krafton will more details will be shared “later this year”.
Lunar New Year Events and Rewards:
In addition, Krafton recently announced a new set of Lunar New Year events and rewards for the game that will run through February 2. In these three BP, Random Boxes will be awarded to players who log in to the game for at least four days, and four Royale Chest Tickets to players who play BR: Extreme mode at least three times daily for four days.
The second event will grant three Frozen Wonderland Crate Tickets to players who play BR: Extreme at least 12 times before February 2, while gamers who win a Chicken Dinner in BR: Extreme will get five Chicken Medals, according to Krafton.
