Long before the premiere of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED announced that story additions would be released to the game after its release. Alas, work on them had to be postponed: the launch of the action movie did not go as smoothly as the Polish studio hoped. When will the DLC be taken out of a long box? The official answer: not soon.
During a meeting with investors, spokespeople of CD Projekt RED said that the release of the expansion, in which fans will have a unique story, will take place no earlier than 2023. Unfortunately, they did not share the details. They only noted that there will be details – but a little later.

Recall that CD Projekt RED was initially going to release DLC back in 2021 along with multiplayer mode. By the way, nothing has been heard about the latter for a long time.
