However, according to Computer World analysis, despite disappointing figures from Lansweeper, AdDuplex data has changed dramatically in favor of the latest Microsoft OS. According to their calculations, introducing a new assembly is approaching 9%. How the two reputable companies have come to such different indicators remains unclear. Another IDC company believes that sales of Microsoft-based PCs in the first quarter of 2022 decreased for manufacturers such as Lenovo, HP, Acer, and others compared to the same period of the previous year.
“The PC market is experiencing two years of double-digit growth, so the decline in the first quarter does not mean that the industry is moving in a downward spiral,” IDC explains in its report.
