There will also be a new game mode called BR: Extreme in the game. There will only be 64 players in this match, and they will each start with a P1911 handgun, a smoke grenade, 300 Drone Credits, and fully charged boost meters. Each match limits players to a smaller area of the Troi map, which is chosen at random.

Every match will last 20 minutes and take place in a battle royale setting. During the match, two Care Packages will be delivered, and the number of vehicles and treasure items will be increased. BR: Extreme will deploy players from a lower height, have faster drone deployment, and a faster redeployment period for teammates.
