Call of Duty Vanguard has officially been revealed to the public! Vanguard is the newest CoD game for 2021 from Activision and Sledgehammer Games.
Vanguard is still in the scope of World War II. However, in contrast to similar games that already exist, it seems that the specific setting takes place towards the end of this massive-scale war in Europe, the Pacific, and North Africa.
Gamers will be able to play 4 main characters, namely Arthur Kingsley, Polina Petrova, Wade Jackson, and Lucas Riggs. Despite their distance, the four struggle to prevent Project Phoenix, the plan to find a successor to Adolf Hitler.
Activision promises a more suspenseful and cinematic campaign mode, which focuses on the moment of the birth of special military forces.
Call of Duty fans are waiting to release the Vanguard Season 2, so we would normally expect to see Season 2 go live on Tuesday 1st February 2022 as well. It is different this time around as the developers are delaying the release in order to try and sort out the huge issues in the game. It will go live on Monday 14th February 2022 instead of Tuesday 1st February 2022.
Sledgehammer Games have finally gone public regarding what alterations will be made in the next update for Vanguard.
